Paylysis ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

Account Information

Email address — collected when you create an account or sign in via Firebase Authentication.

Financial Data

• Salary and payroll information you enter
• Budget categories and expense amounts
• App settings and preferences

This data is synced to secure cloud servers (Google Firebase / Firestore) so you can access it across devices.

Authentication

Optional biometric login (Face ID / Touch ID) is handled entirely by your device's operating system. We never access or store your biometric data. Login credentials are managed securely by Firebase Authentication.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and sync your payroll and budget data across your devices
• To authenticate you securely
• To restore your data if you reinstall the app or switch devices

Third-Party Services

Paylysis uses the following third-party service:

• Google Firebase (Authentication & Firestore) — handles secure login and cloud data storage. Google's privacy policy applies to data processed by Firebase.

We do not use any advertising, analytics, or tracking services.

Data Storage & Security

• Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers, protected by industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties.
• We do not display advertisements.

Your Control Over Your Data

• Delete your account — removes all your data from our servers permanently
• Reset data — use the "Reset All Data" feature in Settings to clear your information
• Delete the app — removes locally cached data from your device

Children's Privacy

Paylysis is designed for adults managing their personal finances. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
